Greenlining Fellowship Program

Greenlining Institute

Overview

The Greenlining Academy works to empower and develop the next generation of multi-ethnic leaders to advance racial and economic equity and create positive social change. 皇冠足球比分_澳门皇冠体育-在线|平台@ seek to develop a network of visionary leaders ready to work across racial and ethnic lines to address America’s most pressing problems and develop sustainable solutions rooted in equity and justice.

The Fellowship Program is a year-long training program for young leaders who have completed, at minimum, their undergraduate degrees by the start of the program. Fellows are assigned to specific program areas and develop expertise with the direction of a Program Manager and the Academy Director. Each Fellowship experience is unique and is shaped by the current policy focus of their program area. Although the curriculum is similar to that of the Associates program, Fellows are given more responsibility and independence to implement projects and programs. The learning environment is based on combining experiential learning opportunities, individual development and team participation.

Greenlining’s Leadership Academy trains the next generation of multi-ethnic advocates through leadership development, mentorship, networking, and hands-on policy experience.

Greenlining views the world through a racial equity perspective, taking into account institutional racism and the current state of communities to inform future policy advocacy efforts. Based on our Racial Equity Toolkit, our approach begins with community engagement and progresses into policy research and advocacy, sustainability, and program evaluation. The Academy trains participants to utilize this model and apply the framework through series of trainings by Greenlining staff and other leaders in the policy field.
